Five wise and foolish - a poem
Writing about experiences helps find meaning.
The Bible reading of the day led by The Spirit was Ephesians 5.
I went to see to the chickens and as I walked over the field I saw a large golden balloon shaped in the number '5' appear from high over the treetops in the field next to our garden.
The context is that the field next to our garden is subject to a extremely large factory proposal in a rural farm food growing field which has a solitary (I call it 'tree of life' - which is and was the name of the small ministry I had and have). They propose to chop down the tree and build a 5 story scrap car massive factory in this field surrounded by ancient woodland which has specialist ecological creatures of interest and resides next to a wedding venue and beautiful vineyard on the eastern border.

.
Over the last few weeks, even months I had been asking Father God about, receiving and declaring Isaiah 62 over this field - that this large field is 'married' 'covenanted' to and by God to the wedding venue vineyard (which needs the tranquillity and scenic outlook to survive in this rural landscape). I had pleaded the blood of Jesus over it many a time and with neighbours and others praying far and wide. We await the refusal of the proposal. The large golden balloon sank slowly and gently down into this lovely field which has been so contentious locally, it rested next to a testing borehole used as part of the proposal.
I stood and watched mouth open, having just read Ephesians 5. Ephesians means desire and 5 means government. I declared again the ruling government of this field is God and the tree to be His and the land to be married to Rowash (rows of ancient trees) and the wedding venue vineyard.
On reading Ephesians 5 once more I saw it was related to The Five Wise and The Five Fools who are awaiting the bridegroom King in the parable of Jesus.
In Jesus day, they used oil lamps for light, food and anointing to keep skin supple, replenished. The oil in the parable represents light to me. The 'fruit' of the Light in Ephesians 5 is goodness, uprightness of heart and trueness of life.
It is written in v14 'Awake O sleeper'. The wise ones of Jesus' parable are those who carry His Light and Oil and awake to make the most of the time, who worship and encourage one another in The Faith of The Day (being people of The Day). Ephesians 5 and The Five Wise and Five fools is about The people of the Day and The Way and their covenant of marriage with their saviour God. I wrote this poem (it will probably need editing but I need to go and feed the chickens now!)
FIVE
Five wise
Five foolish
'Awake O Sleeper'
Five desire to know
The Groom.
Oil lamps
Burn bright
Shining wise light
Bringing
Goodness of God
A Right heart and
True Life showing His Way.
Lit with His will
Approved By His word.
This path
Leads to The Best of all Marriages.
A Husband as Head
A wife as body
A feast of Love of all loves
Where oil abounds
Light surrounds
And we are made holy
In His sight.
Simply receive
Believe
His IS THE LIGHT
Julia St. on seeing a large golden balloon in the shape of 5 in a field next to a vineyard wedding venue. Please pray and agree the fools will not have their way in this field or with this tree. In Jesus mighty name and by His blood I pray. Amen
