Was thinking about communion today and felt God say that has a link to the manna given everyday to the Israelites in the wilderness. The communion helps us refresh ourselves with the Bread of Life Himself. It reminds our whole body mind and spirit that He is risen and causes us to arise and shine. Remember that which He has done for you. It is a communal thing as was the manna experience, best shared together.
